lyrics
Wring out your hands until your skin starts to crack. Drain your blood blisters, get leeches to suck out the black. All your life you've been wearing that sharp crown of thorns and that guilt has been weighing you down since the day you were born.
But all that suffering, never made you a king. All those dimes to the Salvation Army never saved anything. But you still walk around, put that stick in the mud, with that cross on your arm and that depression in your blood and i know it's like the game was fixed before you even arrived.
So you try to numb the pain. Take a number and pass the blame. It's what they call survival these days.
You better get on your knees...
We never really quit, but we never really get better. You stick your hands in the dirt and that stink will stay with you forever. All the things that I love are all the things that I doubt, all the things I can't stand I just can't live without. Is that anchor, keeping you in place or just dragging you down?
I don't get on my knees.
I don't pray for redemption.
If there is a god.
I stand against him.
Imagine walking through the forest in the middle of the night. Pale moon is high in the sky, fog gently covers the ground. That feeling of calm, yet sense of doom around the corner setting on your skin. This album will take you in a roller coaster ride of emotions. The production is raw and meant to hit you in the face. 10 out of 10 crescent moons. nickster_riffster
This Glasgow band is less straightforward or formulaic than many others currently treading the '80s post-punk path. These songs are winged. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 22, 2017
